For owners looking to move up to a crewed-yachting experience, HMY currently has a 2005 Hargrave 96 Skylounge called Ossum Dream listed for $2.495 million. The 96-foot motoryacht features a variety of entertainment spaces, inside and out.
“Ossum Dream underwent a major interior refit in 2017, which has provided her with a fresh, modern, elegant and contemporary look. It’s perfect to enjoy the stunning Caribbean or US cruising,” says HMY Yachts. “The 96-foot Hargrave Motoryacht is an outstanding example of Hargrave’s capabilities, with the volume and facilities rarely found on vessels of 29 meters, giving the feel of a considerably more substantial platform.”
Lounge seating in the sky lounge is an L-shaped settee to port and a fixed, high-gloss cherry high-low table. Courtesy HMY YachtsIn traditional Hargrave style, the salon walls are high-gloss cherry with the cabinets and countertops inset with gloss camphor burl. The three-stool bar has white translucent Corian with a single piece matching floor behind. Stepping inside, there’s an L-shaped sofa to port and two lounge chairs to starboard, which create a comfortable lounge area for guests to relax and converse. Forward, the formal dining space includes a round high-gloss cherry table that seats up to eight people.
Past the forward bulkhead guests will find the open country galley with the U-shaped dinette forward under the raked windows. The galley can accommodate even the most demanding chef with an array of meal-prep appliances, with stainless steel appliances and accessories including:
You can enter the skylounge via stairs to starboard inside or the open-air after section of the flybridge. The sky lounge, which is only the forward half of the flybridge, manages to pack a two-seat helm station forward and what is essentially a second salon lounge area abaft.
As nice as Ossum Dream’s interior is, the exterior is not to be overlooked. The after section of the flybridge alone has a four-stool bar, a grilling station, a hot tub and a U-shaped dinette. The cockpit is the go to spot for alfresco dining with the transom bench seat and fixed dining table, pull up a few loose chairs and fit as many as eight people.
The full-beam amidships master stateroom has an en suite head, a desk area, a settee and a king berth.
