For Sale: 2017 52′ Princess Yachts

Princess Yachts might have broken the mold when it engineered its 52’ Flybridge yacht. Built in Plymouth, England, people describe these yachts as classy, elegant and artistic with plenty of room to keep its passengers and crew comfortable. Daylight Comet, a 2017 52’ Princess, is new to the market and located in Seattle, WA. Buyers should be warned not to hesitate; this offer is not expected to last very long.

Daylight Comet is powered by two. low-hour (980) Caterpillar C-32 Acert diesels, reportedly pushing this yacht to a max speed of 28 knots. Cruising speed is around 23 knots, giving the yacht a range of 260 nautical miles. The layout of this Princess consists of three staterooms with crew quarters, a head located at the stern, salon with galley and the ultimate flybridge. The overall design and appointments of Daylight Comet might remind you of a superyacht, but it can be easily handled by an owner-operator.

Climb aboard and step up to the flybridge on Daylight Comet where you will find a plush upholstered C-shaped aft settee with table, which can easily entertain eight guests while you are grilling on the flybridge electric bbq. Smaller settee seating is available across from the twin seat helm, allowing guests to entertain the captain while cruising. Just want to relax, convert the aft settee into a sun pad and chill out.

A set of molded stairs lead down from the flybridge and conveniently land you near the aft galley/wet bar and salon area. The aft galley/wet bar is one of my favorite features as it lets you conveniently entertain guests on the flybridge, in the salon or on the aft deck simultaneously. The dinette in the salon will seat six, but across from the dinette, behind the lower helm is a couch for two. Side windows and air-conditioning allows guests to change the climate settings in the salon at their discretion.

Through a set of sliding glass doors that lead to the aft deck, you will find another U-shaped upholstered seat with table, which is mostly covered overhead by the flybridge. Enjoy a few cocktails from the back of the yacht as you cruise before moving up the sun pad on the bow for an open-air experience. The sun pad will accommodate at least two guests, and adjust to allow a guest to sit upright for comfort.

As the evening comes to a close, slip down into one of three staterooms Daylight Comet has to offer for a nap. The master stateroom has a queen berth, sofa and large panoramic windows overlooking the water. One of the staterooms consists of twin berths for the kids, and there are three heads as well.
