The new Max-8 braided fishing line from PowerPro, a Shimano brand, is designed specifically for offshore fishing with an 8-carrier Spectra HT fiber construction to provide smooth casting and durability in saltwater environments.

At 25 percent thinner than comparable lines, Max-8 delivers increased line capacity without sacrificing the trusted strength for which PowerPro is known.

Engineered with Enhanced Body Technology (EBT), Max-8 is infused with resin throughout every fiber to create a rounder, smoother profile. The result is enhanced castability, improved line management, and excellent abrasion resistance, according to PowerPro.

Whether jigging over wrecks or chasing pelagics offshore, PowerPro Max-8 is built to fish deeper and with greater precision.
