For those in the market for a Downeast-style cruiser, Curtis Stokes & Associates currently has Blue On Blue, a Grand Banks 49 Eastbay listed for sale with an asking price of $379,000, which represents a $10,000 price reduction.

This 2000 build has a flag-blue hull and is powered with twin 660 hp Caterpillar 3196 diesels, which give the 49-footer a reported cruise speed of 20 knots. Top seed is a reported 27 knots. The engines currently have about 3,000 hours on them.

Blue On Blue has a teak sole throughout its interior along with its sizable 6-foot-2-inch average headroom, which stretches up to 6 feet, 8 inches on the main deck and 6 feet, 5 inches in the staterooms. The helm station is to starboard with bench seating. There is additional bench seating to port for guests and companions. Abaft the helm is another bench seat with an L-shaped sofa and dining table to port.

The Eastbay 49’s cockpit is a blank slate, open with an aft-facing bench seat forward against the salon bulkhead to port. Add a few loose chairs to enjoy cocktails at sunset, or set out a few lines in the four rod holders to catch some dinner.

Other notable features on board this Grand Banks Eastbay 49 include:

  • Garmin Radar
  • Em-Trak Class B AIS transceiver

  • Onan MDKAL-3366405 9 kW generator with approximately 4,000 hours

  • Isotherm stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer
  • Grunert refrigerator and freezer

When it’s time to turn in for the night, the two-stateroom setup includes a forward master stateroom with the guest stateroom to port.
