Swan 128 | Maxi Line Flagship
The relationship that architect Germán Frers has with the Swan shipyard spans 40 years and includes 13 new yachts in the past decade alone. The Swan 128 is a culmination of all those years of collaboration, setting a new benchmark for the Maxi Swan line (which includes models longer than 80 feet). The 128 has a semi-raised salon that adds to the exterior appearance of sportiness while still allowing lots of natural light inside. A sizable owner’s space creates a feeling of elegance, with a significant number of options for interior woodwork and other elements for customization. Owners also can choose among various layouts.

RMK Livia 50 | Now a Three-Yacht Line
In 2024, Turkey’s RMK Yachts unveiled a 223-foot concept called Livia. Now, there are two more models that make Livia a series: the 236-foot Livia 72 and the 164-foot Livia 50 that’s shown below. A key characteristic of the Livia 50 is that it comes in below 500 gross tons, eliminating larger-yacht regulatory requirements. Hybrid propulsion is built into the concept from the start, along with energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems for more eco-conscious cruising. Fun details include the drop-down swim platform. Construction should take about 24 months from the time an order is placed, according to the RMK shipyard.

Cheoy Lee 130 Explorer | First Look for the Public
Cheoy Lee had its new 130 Explorer on display at the recent Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, with the yacht already delivered to its owner and just back from a season of cruising. It’s a yacht that demonstrates the way the yard builds and outfits vessels for long-range adventures, a message that Cheoy Lee further exemplified with plans for a Discovery series of explorer yachts by designer Nick Boksa. The Discovery series will be offered in 115-, 120- and 127-foot models, all with steel hulls and Cheoy Lee’s outfitting that combines commercial practicality with fine craftsmanship and luxury touches.

Zeelander 8 | Flagship Style
Bespoke is the word that Zeelander is using to describe this flagship model that was on display at the recent Monaco Yacht Show. The owner chose to move the galley from its usual location near the bar area to the starboard side of the salon, and the bar is farther aft, making it part of the cockpit entertaining area. Those layout changes allowed space to create an additional lounge area, with all of it able to be open to natural seabreezes or closed off with heat or air-conditioning. According to Zeelander, this yacht is also quiet underway, measuring less than 65 decibels at its top speed of 32 knots. (It reportedly hits 40 with larger engines.)
