Cantiere delle Marche have announced the launch of 45m (147’7”) fully custom explorer yacht TREMENDA at a ceremony in Ancona watched by her very experienced owner. The yacht has been carefully and precisely crafted according to his wishes and specifications with design from Giorgio M Cassetta and the result features striking lines, near vertical bow and spacious beach area on the transom.
“Tremenda encapsulates CdM’s core values – vision, character, and true ocean-going capability. I want to express my gratitude to everyone involved in the completion of this remarkable explorer yacht. First and foremost, to the Owners for entrusting us with the creation of this extraordinary custom vessel; to her visionary designer, Giorgio Cassetta who pushed us to raise the bar and surpass our own limits; to Arrow Yacht and FGI Yacht Group for their invaluable contributions throughout the process and to Ian Kerr for having shared with us his solid expertise,” said Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of Cantiere delle Marche.
Giorgio M Cassetta was equally delighted with the project, commenting, “I hold a deep affection for this remarkable project. The Owners had a clear and well-defined vision. Their expertise, combined with an obsessive attention to detail, proportions, functionality, and flow, made designing TREMENDA a unique experience. It was an honour to design this yacht for them.”
The owner praised how well the team worked together, “What impressed us most was CdM’s ability to deliver the yacht through a fine-tuned teamwork, where every member played their part with skill and dedication, always striving for excellence.”
The thoughtfully designed layout has guest comfort at its core, with streamlined services which enable the crew to operate easily and efficiently. Carefully proportioned spaces offer expansive floor to ceiling windows that enhance the sense of openness and connection to the surroundings.
The Owners have created themselves a full beam apartment in the forward section of the Main deck with his and her ensuite bathrooms and dressing rooms plus adjoining lounge area giving them an area to relax in complete privacy. The four other generous ensuite guest staterooms are on the lower deck.
Technical details include naval architecture and engineering from Sergio Cutolo at Hydro Tec who have created a full displacement hull powered by twin Man V12-1400 engines which deliver a top speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed. She presents as a beautiful and highly efficient explorer yacht.
After testing and trials superyacht TREMENDA will be delivered to her owners, who will no doubt create lasting memories on board for years to come.
